We begin this month with a trip down under to Adelaide, Australia.  Not just the home of a number of worthy private golf courses that welcome non-member play (including Royal Adelaide), but also home to Australia's premier vineyards.  A perfect add-on when visiting Sydney and/or Melbourne.

While springtime may be coming to Australia, soon the fall season will be upon us.  This provides a great opportunity to play some of Cape Cod's top private courses, free of the summertime crowds, at a time of the year when the weather is generally superb.  Learn how to access a number of the top golf courses in Cape Cod and the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.

Also this month, we return to one of our favorite venues, TPC Sawgrass where Pete Dye's Stadium Course provides as enjoyable a round as one finds most anywhere.  Thanks to a myriad of golf course improvements, a palatial new clubhouse, long-overdue renovations to the Marriott Sawgrass, and enticing golf packages, a trip to Ponte Vedra has never been better.

As home to Kolhler and newcomer Erin Hills, Wisconsin is a must-visit for any serious golfer.  In this issue, we share our perspective on three other courses that may well be part of a trip to these Milwaukee-area venues.  See why two of these courses, The Bull at Pinehurst Farm and The Bog, provide rousing rounds at around half the price of Kohler's courses.  Learn why better known Brown Deer Park, long-time host of the Milwaukee PGA Tour stop, is a distant third option.

Secrets of the Golf World also includes a first look at a new luxury resort scheduled to compete with the charming and refined Coeur d'Alene Resort, a review of The Club Menu, a newly released coffee table book devoted to the signature dishes that can be found in clubhouse dining rooms throughout America (and a special shipping offer for Golf Odyssey subscribers), some recent feedback on the Mount Washington Resort.

Check Hot Deals at Press Time for special offers from TPC Sawgrass, Doral, Pinehurst, the Omni Bedford Springs Resort, Princeville and some of the top courses in Myrtle Beach.
