The May 2010 issue kicks off with a look at the little-known private side of Kiawah.  Kiawah is well-known for its high-profile Sanctuary Hotel and five golf courses (including the famed Ocean Course).  It is also home to three excellent private courses, one of which is accessable to interested Golf Odyssey subscribers.

In Lake Placid, New York, we explore several courses that were created during golf's golden age of architecture.  Most known for hosting two Olympic Games, Lake Placid is a delightful summer/fall vacation community that once was home to many of America's most influencial families.

Staying in the mountains, but crossing the country, we explore Sunriver, Oregon's premier family resort.  It is home to Crosswater, one the top courses in the region and country.  During the summer, few destinations offer more outdoor activities.

We pose the question as to whether The Prairie Club will be America's next golf pilgrimage.  Opening at the end of this month in the dune filled Sandhills region of Nebraska, the Prairie Club hopes to garner the same recognition of its legendary neighbors, Sand Hills and Dismal River.  The club is previewed in this issue.

In Secrets of the Golf World, we update readers on the best place to stay when visiting Dornoch, Kohler's newest reach into hallowed St. Andrews and a new golf information website.

SPECIAL BONUS:  This month includes a new retail relationship that provides subscribers 15% off the already guaranteed lowest prices on golf clubs and accessories and free shipping, on all orders over $99!
